Our Story

Meet Jennifer and Ann Marie…

Growing up in a Polish-Italian home, the kitchen was where we gathered, learned, and grew together as a family. Our parents gifted us their passion, best practices, and old-world traditions, that help us put a smile on your face.

Our Mission is to bring the art and skill of cooking and baking to all ages.

Jennifer’s love of baking and food preparation started at the heels of our grandmother in the kitchen of our childhood home. She is a 1990 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. She has worked as a personal chef, caterer, wedding cake designer and pastry chef in New York City, Nantucket, Chatham, MA and Simsbury, CT. She is currently working on passing on her love of the kitchen to her two daughters, Chloë and Grace.

Ann Marie’s culinary path was less conventional. For two summers while in college, she worked in a large corporate kitchen and learned to “cook for a crowd” from an amazing group of Italian and Portuguese women. Instruction was hands-on, intense, and repetitious. From there, it was onto catering for friends and family and teaching a 6 week introductory cooking class called “The Italian Kitchen” at Dartmouth College.
